Colville Tribal member Michelle Osborne of Nike, Inc., presents the new NIKE N7, a sports shoe designed and developed to fit the feet of American Indians. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to build a relationship with Nike and to support health and wellness programs in Indian Country. Juice, fresh fruit and other snacks will be served. Please join us for this very special early morning pick me up to get fit and fitted!

The AWARDS FUND is a special fund dedicated to increasing our speakers honorariums. Currently our awards winners may designate a contribution in their name to the charity of their choice. We have been making donations of $500. With a special fund aside we can increase these gifts!

Native Americans In Philanthropy is proud to honor individuals who have distinguished themselves as grantmakers and changemakers in Native communities. The Flying Eagle Woman Award was initiated in response to the loss of (O'Peqyaw-Metamoh) Ingrid Washinawatok El-Issa. O'Peqyaw-Metamoh passed into the spirit world on March 4, 1999. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and proud citizen of the Menominee Nation. Ingrid was an internationally known humanitarian who worked to further Indigenous peoples' rights, Indigenous women's issues, sovereignty, and human rights throughout the world. Throughout her lifetime, Ingrid was an activist when it came to promoting Indigenous cultures and traditions. She was Board Chair of Native Americans in Philanthropy.
The Louis T. Delgado Distinguished Grantmaker Award was established in honor of Board Member emeritus Louis T. Delgado. Mr. Delgado is serves as a Native Americans in Philanthropy Board Emeritus and is well known for his recruitment and mentoring of Indian people coming into the field of Philanthropy. This Award was established in recognition of the tenacity and power that Mr. Delgado has brought to the field of philanthropy and his commitment to bridging knowledge between philanthropy and Native communities.
