At Cherokee, we discussed questions about a regional or collaborative model, its efficacy and its design, and the role of NAP in that model. Here some questions we discussed that can be used to stimulate more conversation, and stir up brainstorming and sharing. The model: • How do you define your region? • What do you feel is unique about your region? How can the NAP model be specifically helpful in your region? • How do you see the model being designed? What should it look like? How should it work? • What do you find intriguing about the concept of a regional/national approach? How does it strengthen NAP? • What benefits do you anticipate from the model? For your region? For Indian Country? • What other colleagues are in your region that you believe would embrace and participate in the model? • What are the possible drawbacks? • Do you have examples of other organizations/movements that use the model or one similar? • Have you participated in a similar approach? What were your experiences? • What leadership role are you willing to assume in this effort? • How would you judge whether the network is successful?
How is your circle looking at leadership, change and transition? What is working? What needs improvement? What would you like to see happen around this topic? What are some of your ideas? Please use this space to share here with others.
